Urban Planning as Export Item



We are familiar with tranfering ideas and technologies to other countries. We are also familiar with international architects designing buildings in foreign countries. Korean firms are increasingly engaging in some newtown projects in other countires. How about public urban planning? NYT reports that Singapore government sells their urban planning know-hows to China.

In addition, Singapore government created:

in an effort to sell their know-how to other countries.
