By urban communication, I mean the way which the public information is delivered to and understood by the general public in urban setting. Road signage, subway signage, street map, address system, websites of public institutions - all constitutes urban communication. In my judgement, we have not been sensitive enough for this important subject through which people navigate, experience and represent the city, a crucial parometer of urban civilization.
